Vorovoro Island, Fiji
Vorovoro is the smaller of two islands inhabited by the Mali tribe of Fiji and is the ancestral home of Tui (Chief) Mali and his extended family. Tui Mali and his family allow visitors to experience their way of life through BTG programs.
Breathtakingly beautiful and located far off the beaten path in the rural Friendly North region, this 200 acre paradise is nestled in northern Fiji along the Cakaulevu (Great Sea) Reef, the third longest barrier reef in the world. Densely forested volcanic crags give way to pristine beaches, and evidence of ancient settlers can be seen in the shards of ancient Lapita pottery you may still find in the sand to this day.
